Planet Wings was proud to be a part of this years KFEST. Several thousand people flocked to to Dutchess Stadium in Fishkill on Sunday June 3 to see their favorite performers. The lineup for the festival included Akon, Omarion, Gym Class Heroes, Lumidee, Baby Boy, Brooke Hogan and Tiffany Affair.

Middletown Kiwanis has a special friend in Franco Fidanza!
Franco Fidanza, president and founder of the Planet Wings chain of chicken restaurants has worked closely with Kiwanians to co-host the annual fall Pizza for Parks fundraiser. Over a four-year period, thousands of dollars was raised through the sale of pizzas at Fidanza's expense with three-fourths of the proceeds going toward the Middletown Park's Maple Hill Park. First Planet Wings Grille & Pizza Café Opens at Crystal Run Galleria in Middletown!
Franco Fidanza, president and founder of the Planet Wings chain of chicken restaurants has launched his newest restaurant concept, the Planet Wings Grille and Pizza Café at the Crystal Run Galleria in Middletown, NY. The new restaurant uses the current Planet Wings menu as the starting point but also offers expanded menu items, a full service bar and table service.
“We’re very excited about the Grille concept, said Mr. Fidanza. “Our customers have long enjoyed our amazing wings, but this gives them a fantastic atmosphere where they can experience new menu items, enjoy a drink and watch a game on one of our huge plasma Televisions.”
The new 4,000 square foot restaurant offers Planet Wings 24 world famous flavors of wings but also incorporates gourmet pizza, Black Angus burgers, signature salads, panini sandwiches and a host of unique appetizers and homemade desserts. The children’s menu was designed to entertain kids with games and activities so that parents can relax and enjoy dining out in a family friendly atmosphere.
The Grille has a decidedly “Manhattan” feel to it with delicate wood finishes to keep it warm and inviting with traditional “Dickens” town lamps throughout. There is seating for up to 28
in the lounge and there’s even a small seating area with a couch where a small group can enjoy private conversation.
The restaurant concepts run the entire length of the mall corridor starting at the entrance across from the Loews theaters. The Grille also has its own private exterior entrance outside the mall. As you walk past the Grille and Lounge with its patio style seating you will find your way to the Planet Wings Pizza Café.
For those who enjoy quick service and a wide array of menu items, the café is perfect. Situated along the mall corridor, the café, with seating for up to 40 people, is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious bite to eat. The Pizza Café wraps around the front of the mall corridor all the way to the entrance of Sears where several gourmet pies, like Margherita and Tex Mex pizza, are proudly displayed. Like all Planet Wings restaurants, take-out service is available and they deliver to anyone in the mall. Full catering services are available and private parties can be held at the Grille. Gift certificates are available and are a great choice for the holiday season.
